Janis Joplin is one of the greatest singers of all time. She had amazing talent and voice. She was a incredible entertainer. She was born in Port
Arthur, Texas. She also lived in California. Her music career started when she became a singer for Big Brother and The Holding Company.
She had one sister named Laura, and one younger brother named Michael. She was the oldest. She died at the age of 27 on October 4th, 1970. She died of a Heroin overdose.

I've never heard another singer with your expressiveness and power. You're one of my absolute favourites; always cathartic. Hope you're playing great gigs with all the friends you have that we've missed alongside you! Long may you rock, Janis.

i was brought up on your music, and had my middle name. named after you. rest in peace beautiful angel, and keep singing up there in heaven. your missed by so many, i would have loved to of gone to a gig of yours, i play your music mloud and sing along. your music will never die, and you will live on, your a legand xxx
